The Seasons of NixSMP

Each season forged new trials, new gods, and new legends.

Gemist

Freedom and Fire

2021

On January 7, 2021, NixSMP came online. It began as unprotected survival: no rollbacks, no safety nets, and no promise that anything could be restored.

A black castle rose near spawn. Built by Nixon, Mile, and Gemist, it became a marker—easy to find, impossible to ignore.

The server swelled fast. New groups arrived, borders formed without treaties, and old rules stopped applying.

Gemist set the season’s tone. Raids escalated into open hunting, and no intervention was recorded while the balance shifted.

The village fell. Witnesses still argue about the exact sequence, but the outcome stayed consistent: a settlement erased, survivors scattered, and trust broken in minutes.

The first ban wave followed. Nixon withdrew from spawn with CiMy, and the world was later shut down—leaving only fragments and the first “God” title, assigned to the player who had defined the age by force.

Ambition and Legacy

2021

Season II reopened in winter. The exact restart date blurred, but the record agrees on the atmosphere: snow everywhere, and a server trying to rebuild itself with stricter order.

Growth returned. New arrivals filled the empty spaces, and the chat shifted into something louder—and harder to control.

A megamarket became the season’s monument. Jasarevic led the build: glass and stone rising over the snow, with systems that turned trading into routine.

Competition surfaced and faded. A rival market pulled attention for a while, then changed hands when the crowd moved on.

Some events were never meant for the archive. A recording circulated, then vanished into private links and half-remembered retellings.

Security failed once. CiMy returned on an alternate account, the castle burned, and the faction relocated to something smaller: a quartz house that survived because it was not worth conquering.

By the time the snow thinned, the direction was clear. The next season would trade structure for exposure, and the map would begin to feel watched.

Major Events

The Frozen Dawn

Anarchy and Dominion

2021

Season III changed the rules again. The world moved to an Earth-scale map, and Dynmap made distance less private than it used to be.

Movement accelerated. Cars and planes appeared; routes became targets, and hiding became a skill.

A currency was introduced. NixCoin and a car dealership formalized trade, but the server’s focus was already drifting toward conflict.

A faction formed and held territory. The name was a Discord joke; the control was real, and it shaped where players could live.

PytroBE opposed them. The archive notes a duel, a prison built under a base, and an unexpected release that kept the rivalry alive.

Participation collapsed. After roughly two months the world closed, leaving Season III remembered less for survival and more for surveillance.

The title went to Nixon. The only serious rival disappeared after a Discord breach, and the next reset was planned as a correction.

Major Events

God of Peace

Mehmo

Silence and Sanctuary

2022

Season IV was designed as a correction. After the anarchy era, mechanics were simplified and progression was deliberately slowed.

The start was unstable. Join-crashes returned, then faded after configuration changes; the incident is referenced often, but rarely explained.

Mystery was restored on purpose. Dynmap was removed, the End stayed closed, and key plugins returned under tighter control.

New players arrived from outside the usual circle. MEHMO and Ibi became central quickly, and the server’s culture shifted toward cooperation.

The Great Wedding set a precedent. A ceremony on a yacht became a tradition, and partner-teleport quietly changed how alliances worked.

Violence stopped being normal. Old rivals cooled, builders expanded, and Nikola2131’s behind-the-scenes planning became part of the foundation.

The season ended as it began: restrained. Nixon returned from the End with Elytra, formed a small survival pact with Anjyy, and the title went to MEHMO as the server prepared for a stormier chapter.

Major Events

Storm and Reckoning

2022

Season V began under pressure. Technical issues returned, and the community felt smaller, closer, and easier to fracture.

SFRJ was founded as a haven. An alliance formed, daily life stabilized, and new arrivals—most notably 7lz—joined despite the language gap.

The peace did not hold. ibi chose war, and the village shifted from social hub to battlefield.

The siege ended with an exploit-level edge. Records mention Cutter V and missing Netherite pieces; the decisive kill went to ibii.

Administrative intervention followed the fight. ibi was banned, and the aftermath became as famous as the battle itself.

A memorial closed the era. A Technoblade statue was raised, Marija’s House of Freedom stood nearby, and Nixon stepped away as Season VI was requested.

Viktor

Awakening of the Dragons

2023

After Season V, the map emptied. The server stayed alive as a hybrid world—mods and plugins stitched together by whoever still returned.

Nixon stepped out of combat. The archive places him in workshops and test rooms, watching more than leading.

A portal project resumed. Nikola, long present but rarely seen, became the one person trusted to stand beside the experiment.

The Sanctuary opened. Dragons were first awakened there, then appeared in the Overworld like something that had slipped its cage.

The season moved on without Nixon. Nikola and Kocka carried the visible work, and players returned once dragons became obtainable.

The desert became a warning. A sand worm killed in one hit, and travel routes quietly changed to avoid the sand.

A wedding followed the crown. Viktor’s name was paired with Veronika’s in a recorded ceremony—an echo of Season IV’s tradition, but under different terms.

The final record is personal. At a party, Viktor was named as Nixon’s son; the mother remained unrecorded. The reunion was quiet, forgiveness came first, and the crown followed.

Major Events

Sanctuary Breach

The Limits of Infinity

2023

Season VII shifted from survival to the forge. While Nixon stepped into a quieter role, forming a new inner circle with Nikola, Kocka, and CiMy, the world around them began to fracture. The Macedonian group, once the server’s most vibrant pulse, saw their influence start to dim as the old guard looked for new ways to find meaning in a changing map.

A competition of steel defined the era. Ibi, the God of Storm, challenged Nikola to a trial of craftsmanship. For days, the two labored in secret, pushing the game’s limits to create the ultimate blade. Nikola emerged victorious, forging Anubis—a sword of such precision that it became the definitive relic of the season.

The fall of the classic player. Mile, a legend since Season I, began to drift from the traditional path. Seeking a different thrill, he turned to forbidden methods, leading to a repeated cycle of bans and lessons as Nixon couldn't handle someone ruining game for them. This conflict would ripple outward, marking the start of a three-year schism between the NixonFamily and the Green Zone.

The world reached its edge. As the systems grew perfect and the drama shifted from the map to the community’s heart, the infinite world finally found its limits—not through war.

Major Events

The Lore Timeline

Key moments that shaped our world

Prologue — Supernova

Year Unknown

The spark began in raw survival—like a supernova shattering the void, giving birth to a newborn nebula. From that cosmic chaos, freedom forged bonds and rivalries that would echo across seasons.

And the nebula, ever restless, has only grown and expanded since.

Season I — Freedom and Fire

2021

At the world’s first ignition, freedom burned bright. From wilderness rose banners and borders; from ash, power and ruin. By season’s twilight, one name cut through the smoke—Gemist—etched into legend as the measure of strength.

Season II — Ambition and Legacy

2021

The world woke under snow, and the age of enterprise began. Markets flickered to life, engines of industry hummed, and cities climbed from frost. Beneath the glow, loyalties split—some became icons, others betrayers. What endured was smaller and truer: a quartz house, and the promise that trust could be rebuilt.

Season III — Anarchy and Dominion

2021

Survival’s quiet heart was torn out and replaced with open anarchy. On an Earth-sized map under Dynmap’s gaze, roads roared with cars and planes while hunters ruled the wild. Dominion was a choice; danger was the only law.

Season IV — Silence and Sanctuary

2022

The wars fell quiet. The End was sealed, mystery returned, and friendships became the season’s engine. On calm seas a wedding was held; on cold winds trust was reforged. Peace didn’t mean weakness—it meant choosing it.

Season V — Storm and Reckoning

2022

Family first, until the storm arrived. SFRJ rose as a peaceful haven—then iron met thunder. Battles scarred pride as much as armor, and a statue to a fallen king reminded the world what should be remembered.

Season VI — Awakening of the Dragons

2023

The world held its breath after the storm. A portal experiment reopened the unknown, dragons crossed over like an epidemic, and deserts learned a new name: danger. The crown passed to Viktor, a wedding was recorded soon after, and the mother’s identity remained unrecorded.

Season VII — The Limits of Infinity

2023

The age of dragons gave way to an age of precision. Innovation replaced instinct as the server’s heartbeat was measured in minions and automated power. Yet, as the systems reached perfection, the magic of the unknown began to fade. The infinite world finally found its edge—not through war.
